Joshua Noda caught his first fish ever while fishing in a kids sustainable fishing tournament in the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary waters. As part of the sustainable fishing tournament, this fish was caught using a barbless hook.

David and Conner Creal - Channel Islands

David and Conner Creal drove all the way from Las Vegas to fish on the Pacific Islander out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Center. Ten year old Conner caught this Sugar Bass on the backside of Anancapa.

"Congratulations to David and Conner Creal, winners of Week 6 in the Sanctuary Classic. David took his son Conner fishing on the Pacific Islander out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Center of Oxnard. They fished Anacapa Island which is located within the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. They have won a $100 gift certificate to West Marine!"

Damian- Florida Keys

Damian caught and released this young Lemon Shark while fishing in the waters of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

"Congratulations to the winner of Week 5 in the Sanctuary Classic fishing photo contest! Damian is an avid angler in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary waters, releasing most of what he catches, as he did here with this juvenile Lemon Shark. Delgado Family - Channel Islands

Joe and Justin, age 10&12, fished with their Dad Jesse on the Pacific Islander and all three caught white sea bass. It was a great family trip that they will all remember for a long time.
