Jen Chiu shows off a beautiful Vermillion Rockfish that was caught, tagged and released. As part of the California Collaborative Fisheries Research Program (CCFRP), Jen and her colleagues monitor the fish populations within the marine protected areas.

Four year old Laney got some help from her Dad catching and releasing this bonita while fishing in the waters of the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.

Niki Rogers fished with her Dad and her sisters in the waters adjacent to the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary. They caught 2 yellowfin tuna, taking advantage of the warmer waters in the 2015 El Nino waters.
